"Abner's Happy Home"

Hope Animal Rescues

Go Back

Abner

Abner, along with his other 7 brothers and sisters were rescued from an Animal Control facility on what
would have been their last day of life.  A rescue that was going to take them to saftey backed out at the last
minute leaving them stranded.  And then a few days after being rescued, one by one, the puppies became
very ill.  They were all taken to the nearby hospital for treatment.  They were diagnosed with Parvo and
within the first 48 hours, we lost two of the boys, Lewis and Parker.  The remaining six puppies fought
desperatley to fight off the deadly disease and eventually, one by one were able to come home.

Now happy and healthy, Abner has found his new “Forever Home” where he is truly loved.

Hello Kim & Jackie,
Just wanted to send an update on Jack.  He is doing great and loves spending time with his new friend Kaylee.
They play with each other about 23 hours a day.  All is very well and we are so glad we adopted him and made him
part of our family.
Thank you,    Todd & Becky

Abner is doing great! He is adjusting very well and he and Kaylee play all of the time. He is the most affectionate and
sweetest puppy I've ever seen. We're very happy to have him! We'll upload some pictures soon. Take care!
