Hi Jackie and Kim! Another good day with Beth, guys, and wanted to let you know. Coaster and she are totally fast friends and it is so so cool. Vet check went well on her for everything except of course orders for puppy food. No accidents so far today either, but they are going out and playing all the time, and that is a huge yay!!!. When I start back to work on Monday, it's gonna be kinda tough on her. As usual I have number of breaks during day to come home, and I am only a minute away from home when I'm at office. But, she's in her crate at night and doesn't like it. For a while she'll have to be in her crate when I'm gone and my son are gone at the same time during the day. Hubby is puppy proofing/cleaning the house tomorrow and Sunday before he leaves on Monday, and unfortunately it's alot of work to do as I've been out of commission for any keeping up on things for quite a while here. Nonetheless, she's a chewer and very curious, so the crate will be needed for a while. Now I'm cracking up. Her bark is bit of a beagle howl at times and comes out of nowhere. She just heard something outside and all the dogs are looking at her like "what is your problem?"
Hints on crate training would be appreciated, please? Probably I am just too kind hearted, but we are home all weekends for the most part and so there has not been enough daytime crate time. So I'm concerned for her.
Also, do we know any anything about where she came from? Do you know where animal control got her from /were they turned in to a pound, picked up, or what? I felt so bad today for her as male loud voices were not a good thing at all for her. Nor was just stern talking from two parents to child (who did 1200$ damage to car in snow and ice last night and then wanted to drive it this afternoon without a mirror. ahhh, life). She went behind a chair both times and it was just sad. She recovered easily with some loving attention, but it was just sad.
Nonetheless, all in all this is a miracle here, and I will do some kind of writing for her web page, with pictures, please?. We have playing dogs again and it is sheer beauty and relief. She is a blessing and a beautiful, kind, tender, playful puppy. Hey, I'll try to get some snow pictures before it is all gone, and yes, yes, yes, Snow buddies all of them.
Hope you don't get sick of hearing about her :) Blessings, Robbie
