Canon is quite the little stinker though. He loves chewing on my shoes and blankets, has learned how to open EVERY door in my house, and jumps clear over our 4 foot fence daily to go play with the dog that lives behind us. He never leaves sight of the house or goes in the road, which is good. He is also a HUGE momma's boy. I can't make it through 10 minutes of laying in bed before he crawls under the covers and snuggles as close as possible to me...I think its cute, but Mitch can't stand it! Needless to say, I love my little baby. Thank you for rescuing him, and all of the other animals.

Canon is doing very good. He loves all three of his new sisters (my dog Kaluah, and my parents' 2 girls Macy and Mita). Macy is a Lab mix and Mita is a teacup Australian Sheep Dog. Mita is very protective of him, and when the big dogs are playing with him, she gets very nervous and watches closely as to make sure they do not hurt him. Macy takes Canon on adventures around the property, and has been encouraging him to learn to fish, taking him into the shallows of the water to watch the fish swim. He loves it, but it makes him stinky! Kaluah and him love to play, and it's NON stop! As soon as they wake up in the morning, it's 6 hours of play, a 30 minute-hour long nap, then another 6 hours of playing. At first, we had to feed Canon in his cage, because Kaluah is a bit of a pig, and kept trying to steal Canon's food. Now Kaluah is learning pretty good how to share food and what is hers and what isn't. He really isn't a huge fan of the car. He is always all over the place trying to make his way to my lap, which obviously just can't happen. I bought this hammock thing from Petsmart for the backseat which is supposed to keep them from getting up front or falling on the floor, but it doesn't. He figured out really quick how to climb over it, but I catch him before he gets in front and make him sit back down. After a while of that he just gives up and goes to sleep. Right now, its nap time. Canon is sleeping on my lap and Kaluah is on the other couch. He loves to sleep on me, no matter what position he is in, he falls right asleep as long as he is touching me somehow. Mitch wanted to change his name to Willie, like
Willie Nelson, but I decided to keep it as Canon, I think it sounds cute when paired with Kaluah. I attached some pictures for you, he just woke up and started licking the screen, I guess he's trying to tell you he loves you and misses you!
