Go Back

Clyde
Clyde and his sister Bonnie were rescued along with their mother Carley when their time ran out at Animal Control.   How could anyone hurt such a cute little puppy?  But the truth is that it happens all too often because there are so many cute and adorable puppies.  But Clyde was one of the lucky ones and now has the perfect family where he is so loved and cared for.
Thank you Jimmy and Michelle

Kim and Jackie, Sorry we have not been in touch sooner. We sure have not forgotten you and think of you often.
Tonight we pulled up hoperescues.com (as we often do) and saw some puppies on the sight for the second
time. Not only do you save these babies one time, but take them back when adopted parents change their
minds. I just wanted to thank you, again. You girls are awesome! I hope these dogs find their perfect home. I
always think that their perfect home would probably be with me :) (and then my husband tells me something
along the lines of "we can't take them all home") But you do take them all home and not only work with
the pups, but lots of families as well. (Honestly, the pups are easier, aren't they?) We love you guys for what
you have given our family. OK - So let's talk about that.... after Christmas, we had to buy a bigger toy basket
because the old one was too small. WAY too small. He still gets up around 6 am to "play" for about a half an
hour (remember that?! I can't say you didn't warn us) He was getting up at 5 for the longest time, playing, and
then returning to bed for a while. He is finally sleeping until 6 BUT if he wakes up first and has to wake us up,
like on weekends, don't think you're going to get to pee without taking the toy and the dog with you! The minute
your feet hit the floor, it's playtime!! He loves water, car rides, being outside, and the kids. We were looking at
his baby picture you had of him on the sight and he sure does not look like that now. He is a big, fat boy! He
knows right where the treat cabinet is in the kitchen. He will go there, sit, speak, roll over, sing (yes, he really
"sings") whatever it takes. If Rocky wants a treat, he's not walking away from the treat cabinet without a treat! I
promise a picture in the near future. Just really wanted to say thank you and let you know we were thinking of
you. Lots of love to you guys,
Jimmy, Michelle, Jake, Zac, Jayson, and Rocky

Dear Kim and Jackie, we were on the sight today and thinking of you all. Thank you, again, for everything you do for these animals and helping them find their way to happy homes.
We are in love with Clyde. We have changed his name to "Rocky" and you were right, he is a little devil. Can you say spoiled? How about spoiled rotten? He is the love of our lives. He is already going to the sliding glass door and wanting to go outside to potty. Accidents really only happen when he is left alone. `Along with his big jack that you sent home with us, his favorite toy is a dingo. (the toy that holds a "treat" inside) We would like to get some of these for your other dogs if that is ok. He is starting to understand when we say "no bite" when he puts things in his mouth that he is not supposed to. (The training video that came in our adoption packet was really helpful.) He "talks" to us in a pretty big bark letting us know what he wants most of the time, although I have to tell you that if we do not respond quick enough, he rolls around until we do respond. Like he's saying, "OK, as if I'm not cute enough already, how about THIS?" He sure does have a personality!
Thank you for staying in touch and we will send pictures when my oldest son returns home with the camera. He is in Alabama right now visiting grandma and grandpa.
We will definitely keep in touch. As a matter of fact, we are keeping an eye on your "Grease Gang" and their gorgeous mom. Thank you so much.      Jimmy, Michelle, Jake, Zachary, Jayson and Rocky
