RizzoDoody
Rizzo and Doody were two puppies of a litter of 8 that were rescued from Animal Control.  They had just been born the night before and the kennel had no heat.  The puppies were all cold and wet and we knew that they would not live to see the next day if we did not rescue them.  Two the puppies did die within 48 hours of rescuing them due to hypothermia.  But the rest of the litter thrived and now Rizzo and Doody (aka Remmi) are happy, healthy and loved so very much in their new home together.

Hi Kim & Jackie!!  I just wanted to send you some updated photos of Rizzo and Remmi!!  They are getting so big and are doing absolutely wonderful.  We are getting ready to schedule them for spaying and neutering within the next few weeks.
Just thought I'd send you some updated photos of our sweet little (okay - not so little any more) babies!!

P.S.  I love the last picture - Remmi has one eye open while sleeping in Tom's chair!!

Here are some updated pictures of Remmi and Rizzo.  They definitely still like to snuggle with each other (and the kids too)!! They are both doing pretty good with the "sit" command for treats.  We're definitely working with them!!
We all love them so much!!
Thanks so much!!

Hi Kim and Jackie.  We just wanted to give you an update on Rizzo and Remmi.  They had their first vet appointment with our vet last week.  Rizzo is completely healthy and doing great.  Remmi has a hernia.  They said they wanted to watch it, but that they may have to go in and close it up.  Do you know if that is something that is covered by the insurance they have for their first month??  If so, we were going to talk to the vet this week to see if they wanted to recheck it and see what their opinion is.  If it's something they are going to have to do surgery on, I'd much rather have it done while they are covered on insurance if it's something that is covered.
If you don't mind letting me know your thoughts, I would really appreciate it!!
Other than that, they are both doing great!!  We love them very much (although we are definitely looking forward to them being completely potty trained)!!  They are growing like weeds and I'll be sure to send some more pictures to you no later than next week so you can see their progress.
 Thanks so much for everything!!

Hi Kim and Jackie!!  The puppies are wonderful!!  We kept Rizzo's name, but we changed Doody to Remmi.  So now we have Rizzo and Remmi.  By the third night they were sleeping through the night which is a good thing!!  Rizzo really likes her time outside, but Remmi would definitely much prefer to stay indoors!!  He had an accident in his crate this morning for the first time because he just didn't want to go outside.  He stands at the back door and just screams to come back inside!!  Any tips for getting him to want to be outside to do his business??
As soon as Tom downloads some pictures, I'll be sure to send you a couple of the good ones!!  We've probably already taken a couple hundred photos of them!!  They are so darn cute!!  Everybody loves them very much!!  Thanks so much for letting us adopt them!!  They really have made the family complete again!!
Talk to you soon!!
Julie
